Rep. Vicente Gonzalez, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Texas’ 34th district, has been active on social media, sharing updates on various initiatives and events. His recent tweets reflect his ongoing commitment to community service and legislative efforts.

On January 21, 2025, Rep. Gonzalez commemorated Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., urging for a recommitment to building on Dr. King's legacy towards achieving a more perfect union. He stated, "Today, as we honor Dr. King and celebrate his life, may we recommit to building on his legacy and continuing our work toward a more perfect union."

On January 22, 2025, he announced the introduction of the Veterans Member Business Loan Act alongside other lawmakers. This legislation aims to enhance access to capital for veteran-owned small businesses. Gonzalez expressed pride in this initiative by tweeting: "Proud to have introduced the Veterans Member Business Loan Act with @RepBrianFitz, @maziehirono, and @SenDanSullivan. This bill would increase access to capital for veteran-owned small businesses, allowing them to invest into themselves and their communities!"

Gonzalez shared an event honoring Kingsville K-9 Border Patrol Agent Cory Whetten's family with a flag and Congressional certificate in recognition of Agent Whetten’s service and dedication to his community. He noted: "Team Gonzalez was honored to present a flag and Congressional certificate to Kingsville K-9 Border Patrol Agent Cory Whetten’s family honoring his life and service."
