Rep. Vicente Gonzalez, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Texas’ 34th district, has shared a series of updates through his social media account. The posts highlight various initiatives and events involving traffic safety funding, international partnerships, and personal greetings.

On November 19, 2024, Rep. Gonzalez announced federal funding for local traffic safety projects. He stated that "Proud to announce @USDOT awarded San Benito $232,000 and San Juan $176,000 to create a Comprehensive Safety Action Plan. This funding will enhance traffic safety and reduce roadway fatalities – a step forward in making our streets safer for everyone."

The following day, on November 20, 2024, he attended an event celebrating the partnership between the United States and El Salvador. Rep. Gonzalez expressed his appreciation by saying "I was honored to join my @SAL_Caucus colleagues and government officials from El Salvador in an unforgettable celebration of the partnership between our two nations. We also welcomed new Co-Chair @RepLuna – I know we will continue to work for the betterment of our two countries."

Later that same day, Rep. Gonzalez extended birthday wishes to President Biden with a brief message: "Wishing @POTUS a very happy birthday!"
