San Perlita Independent School District issued the following announcement on Dec. 26.
HS basketball players resumed practice today. We had several athletes and staff submit to voluntary Covid testing.
We will make it available to MS players Weds. Practice is at 10am. Testing will begin at 9am in Mr Z's classroom (HS building - use back entrance).
Parents, there is a QR code that can be used to pre-register students, or we will provide forms on site.
HS athletes can also come in at this time.
Testing will be available to all staff & students next Monday, before classes resume on Tuesday. The more people tested, the better. TEA will replenish our supply through this program as long as they have tests available. We are not allowed to mandate testing under this program. The tests are provided free of charge.
