City of Harlingen issued the following announcement on Nov. 4.
Cameron County has received confirmation of an additional 55 laboratory reports of COVID-19.
This raises the total number of COVID-19 cases to 24,478 in Cameron County. There have also been an additional 74 individuals who have recovered, raising the total number of recovered individuals to 22,243.
Cameron County Public Health has received confirmation of one (1) additional COVID-19 related death of a Cameron County resident. This raises the total to 1089.
As part of the COVID-19 action response plan, Cameron County Public Health is conducting epidemiological investigations, contact tracing as needed and continues to monitor the situation.
