BROWNSVILLE, TEXAS – On August 9, Congressman Vicente Gonzalez (TX-34) celebrated multiple federal transportation grants benefiting rural communities throughout the 34thCongressional District of Texas. The federal grants, in addition to state funding, were awarded to several local rural transit agencies, counties, organizations and cities by the Texas Transportation Commission.
