Vicente Gonzalez, a U.S. Congressman representing Texas' 34th District, has expressed support and provided informative updates on various subjects through his recent Twitter activity.

On April 18, 2025, Gonzalez acknowledged the achievements of a local educator, stating, "Team Gonzalez was proud to recognize Ms. Mary Martin from Weslaco High School for being a finalist for the HEB Excellence Award. Congratulations!" This highlights his engagement in celebrating educational achievements in his community.

The following day, April 19, 2025, Gonzalez informed his followers about changes affecting federal student loan borrowers. He tweeted, "For the first time in five years, federal student loan borrowers who fall behind on student loan bills can have their wages, social security benefits, or tax refunds reduced. On April 20, 2025, Gonzalez extended holiday greetings with a biblical reference, "Happy Easter South Texas! 'He is not here, for he has risen, as he said. Come, the place where he lay' (Matthew 28:6)." This message illustrates Gonzalez's connection to the community, sharing in the celebration of religious occasions.
