67.3% of Webb County residents old enough to vote in 2021

Of the 266,963 citizens living in Webb County in 2021, 67.3% were old enough to vote, equating to 179,733 individuals, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained on Oct. 26.

Further breakdown reveals that of the voting-eligible population, 87,491 were male, constituting 48.7%, and 92,242 were female, making up 51.3%.

The percentage of citizens old enough to vote in Webb County during 2021 was lower than the state average, which stands at 74.2%.
