The UTGRV College of Health Professions will open a new Bachelor of Science hybrid degree within Integrated Health Sciences.
Available starting in the spring, the 120-hour program with open admission is designed for students who know they want to be in the medical field, but have not yet made up their mind as to which exact program they wish to pursue.
“The program is designed as an entry point to any student interested in our health affairs programs at UTRGV," Dr. Michael Lehker, dean of the UTRGV College of Health Professions, said.
Students who have an interest in the medical field and in programs offered by the College of Health professions will be able to make progress on required courses without committing to a program until the third year.
