City of Brownsville issued the following announcement on March 16
Based on the latest information and in accordance with the National Emergency Declaration issued by President Trump, Governor Abbott's Declaration of Disaster and Cameron County Judge Eddie Trevino, Jr.'s order for the cancellation/suspension of functions and events with an anticipated attendance of more than 250 people, the Brownsville Chamber of Commerce is postponing or canceling widely attended networking events scheduled for the next eight weeks.
