Vicente Gonzalez has represented his district in Congress since defeating Mayra Flores in both the 2022 and 2024 general elections. In the most recent contest in 2024, he secured victory with just over half the vote share (51.3%) against Flores’s 48.7%. In their previous matchup in 2022, Gonzalez also prevailed with a margin of approximately eight percentage points.
